It has become the price barometer for fruit and vegetables in Australia and it continues to set the standard for operational excellence in the Australian fruit and vegetable industry including the development of cool chain systems, distribution networks and other technical innovations. This market is located in Buildings A, B, C and E at Sydney Markets in the heart of Sydney opposite the Sydney Olympic Park.
Sydney Flower Market is Australia's largest flower market for fresh cut flowers. The diverse group of primarily supply florists in the Sydney area, regional NSW and the ACT, but the market is also open to the general public. It is estimated that the Sydney Flower Market has an annual turnover in excess of $150 million and accounts for approximately 75% of the wholesale cut flower trade in NSW. Potted plants and florist supplies such as ribbon, wrap, foam and other sundries are also sold.

The Sydney Markets Plaza Business and Shopping Centre is a multi-storey business and retail centre located at Sydney Markets. With a net lease area of over 5,700 m², Sydney Markets Plaza Business and Shopping Centre consists of ground floor retail premises and two levels of commercial offices servicing over 40 tenants including banks, post office, newsagent, supermarket, butcher & cafes. Sydney Markets Limited head office is located on Level 3 of the Sydney Markets Plaza Business and Shopping Centre.
Paddy’s Markets and Paddy’s Swop & Sell is located at the Haymarket in the Sydney CBD and this comprises of extensive buildings and shops open to the public and providing bargains covering local and imported foods, cosmetics, clothing, shoes and all manner of associated goods. The Sydney Markets site is surrounded by 14 warehouse facilities with 63,000 square meters or 673,000 square feet of storage and cooling facilities.
