Sydney Markets is located in Flemington in the heart of Sydney and is the largest market in the southern hemisphere. The impressive 41-hectare site is leased from the NSW Government and Sydney Markets also use MAJIK Enterprise to operate Paddy's Market in the Haymarket, Sydney.

However, Sydney Markets Limited is more than just a property management company that collects rents and fees from its tenants. Market operations are complex, with huge tonnages of highly perishable fresh produce from all over Australia moving through them each day. The community markets attract very large crowds seeking the many bargains on offer which brings operational pressures which are managed effectively through excellent systems put in place by the company. Sydney Produce Market which is the largest fresh fruit and vegetable wholesale market in Australia and one of the largest in the world. It caters primarily to professional buyers from supermarkets, restaurants and green grocers but is also open to the public. It has become the price barometer for fruit and vegetables in Australia and it continues to set the standard for operational excellence in the Australian fruit and vegetable industry including the development of cool chain systems, distribution networks and other technical innovations. This market is located in Buildings A, B, C and E at Sydney Markets in the heart of Sydney opposite the Sydney Olympic Park.

Sydney Flower Market is Australia's largest flower market for fresh cut flowers. The diverse group of primarily supply florists in the Sydney area, regional NSW and the ACT, but the market is also open to the general public. It is estimated that the Sydney Flower Market has an annual turnover in excess of $150 million and accounts for approximately 75% of the wholesale cut flower trade in NSW. Potted plants and florist supplies such as ribbon, wrap, foam and other sundries are also sold.

Sydney Growers Market provides a daily outlet for growers to sell their own fruit, vegetables and herbs grown and harvested on their farms within the Sydney area. Originally known as the 'Number 6 Growers Market' at Haymarket in 1936, the Sydney growers Market moved to Building 'D' at Sydney Markets in 1975. It has since become the premier growers market in New South Wales, playing a vital role in the Australian central market system. 394 growers within the Sydney basin travel to Sydney Markets to market their produce on a daily basis. It is a one-stop shop for buyers to compare prices and products and trade in an open, competitive market.

The Sydney Markets Plaza Business and Shopping Centre is a multi-storey business and retail centre located at Sydney Markets. With a net lease area of over 5,700 m², Sydney Markets Plaza Business and Shopping Centre consists of ground floor retail premises and two levels of commercial offices servicing over 40 tenants including banks, post office, newsagent, supermarket, butcher & cafes. Sydney Markets Limited head office is located on Level 3 of the Sydney Markets Plaza Business and Shopping Centre.

Paddy’s Markets and Paddy’s Swop & Sell is located at the Haymarket in the Sydney CBD and this comprises of extensive buildings and shops open to the public and providing bargains covering local and imported foods, cosmetics, clothing, shoes and all manner of associated goods. The Sydney Markets site is surrounded by 14 warehouse facilities with 63,000 square meters or 673,000 square feet of storage and cooling facilities.

SML selected the MAJIK Enterprise solution in preference to several other "global" applications including Epicor, Microsoft Navision and Pronto.
